Alejandro Monologues

Kate Macy confronts Alejandro in Mexico after discovering his true, unsanctioned mission to assassinate a cartel leader.

Alejandro delivers a haunting internal monologue reflecting on the nature of human evil and the cycle of violence. He justifies his brutal methods as a necessary way to force his enemies to confront the reality of their own humanity through shared suffering.

Following a violent encounter, Alejandro tends to Kate's (Macy) injuries while delivering a chilling ultimatum about her future in law enforcement. He explains the history of the 'Sicario' and warns her that she lacks the predatory nature required to survive in a world without rules.

Following a traumatic encounter, Macy confronts Alejandro about the pervasive corruption and danger surrounding their mission. Alejandro reveals the tragic history of his family's murder, explaining the psychological brutality of the cartels and why he finds it difficult to look at her.

Alejandro delivers a grim philosophical reflection on the nature of the drug war and the cyclical violence of the cartels. He argues that the conflict is not a war on drugs, but a war against human nature and the consequences of moral compromise.
