I've been photographing actors in Los Angeles for over 20 years, and I've written about headshots for Backstage for much of that time. My goal is simple: a headshot that looks like you on the day you walk into the room, and tells casting something true about who you are. Sessions are in my private Studio City studio, so there's no audience and you can stop performing for the camera. I direct throughout, so your expressions come from real thought rather than posing. You'll leave with photos that feel like you, not a polished version of someone else.
