A criminal psychologist interrogates a former police officer turned convict following a violent virtual reality simulation. Dr. Madison Carter attempts to break through Parker's defensive walls to understand his psychological triggers, while Parker struggles with the trauma of his past and the dehumanizing nature of being a test subject.
