Sera Gamble

Following a near-fatal accident, Beck and Joe share an intimate cab ride where Beck confesses her insecurities about her failing writing career and the loneliness of New York City. Joe uses his knowledge of her interests to build a false sense of deep connection, eventually comforting her as she falls asleep on his shoulder.

Joe Goldberg stalks Beck at a subway station, observing her drunken behavior and internalizing his obsession through a dark internal monologue. The tension peaks when Beck, distracted by her phone and a homeless man, accidentally falls onto the tracks as a train approaches.
