Billy Bob Thorton

Karl recounts a haunting childhood memory to young Frank about the day his parents forced him to dispose of his premature infant brother.

Frank shares his secret sanctuary with Karl, opening up about his loneliness, his mother's abusive boyfriend, and his longing for his late father.

Karl calmly recounts the traumatic events of his childhood and the brutal double murder that led to his long-term institutionalization.

Doyle aggressively asserts his dominance over Frank, establishing strict new rules for the household and demanding that Karl be sent away.
